Hi-fi amplifiers

Integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, preamplifiers and DACs: solid-state and tube electronics, selected for musicality, reliability and value for money.

How to choose a hi-fi amplifier

The amplifier is the heart of a hi-fi system: it takes the signal from the source (turntable, CD player, streamer or DAC) and raises it to the level needed to drive the loudspeakers. Beyond rated power, what matters is current delivery, stability into difficult loads and the match with your loudspeakers: a good amplifier stays controlled and transparent even when the impedance dips.

An integrated amplifier combines preamplifier and power amplifier in one chassis. Separates, a preamplifier with one or two power amplifiers, isolate the stages from each other and let the system grow over time.

Solid-state or tubes?

Solid-state amplifiers offer control, power and reliability with any loudspeaker. Tube amplifiers are prized for their natural tone and deep soundstage, and perform at their best with high-sensitivity loudspeakers. Our brands cover both schools.
